Eileen Gray conceived the Tube Light in the 1920s as a study in reduction. A single luminous column, nothing added that need not be there. The premise was radical for its moment and remains quietly so today.
ClassiCon's reissue honors that restraint absolutely. The floor lamp stands on a lacquered titanium base that rotates freely, allowing the light to be directed without adjusting the column itself. Remove the base entirely, and the lamp leans against a wall with the same composure, as much sculpture as light source.
