Dance of Glasses Glassware
A droplet changes everything. F. Maurer's Dance of Glasses collection, made in Germany by Raumgestalt, introduces a single formed droplet at the base of each glass, tilting it to a gentle, permanent angle. The glass does not tip. It does not roll. It simply rotates on its own axis, as if caught mid-movement.
The engineering behind this apparent whimsy is precise. Weight and proportion are calibrated so that even a full glass remains stable, its center of gravity held in perfect tension with the curved base. What reads as playfulness is, in fact, disciplined form-giving.
- Designed by F. Maurer
- Made in Germany
- Angled silhouette held stable by a single base droplet
- Rotates on its axis without tipping or rolling away
On the table, the Dance of Glasses brings quiet animation. Each piece leans into the conversation without demanding it.
