On the other, a concealed light source washes the surrounding space in quiet, diffused illumination. The two planes coexist without hierarchy, each meaningful on its own terms.
Davide Groppi founded his Piacenza-based studio on a single conviction: that light should be felt before it is seen. The Calvino distills that philosophy into its most economical form, prioritizing thinness and apparent weightlessness above all else.
