The process echoes the philosophy of Japan's Mingei movement, which held that objects made through honest labor carry their own quiet beauty.
The resulting silhouette is organic where glass craft is often rigid, soft where it might be severe. Available in Clear and Smoke finishes, each piece reads differently against light, the Smoke variant drawing the eye inward while Clear allows the structure of the frame to dissolve into its surroundings.
