Plane Coffee Table
Designed by Massimo Mariani for Living Divani, Plane is a study in the quiet tension between solid and void. Two tempered glass panels, each with rounded corners and a beveled edge, form the primary structure. Their transparency makes the object feel both present and weightless.
The lower panel contains three through holes that anchor a slab of material chosen from three distinct registers: solid walnut, stone oak, or white Carrara marble. Each choice shifts the character of the piece entirely, from the warmth of grain to the cool authority of stone.
