Designed by Davide Groppi in 2015, the Pablo lamp begins with a gesture: a frameless panel of light rested against the wall, recalling the quiet act of leaning a painting before it is hung. The reference is deliberate. From Picasso to Ungaretti, the work positions light as something to be regarded rather than used.
There is no visible source, no frame, no hardware on display. Only a luminous surface, flush with the wall, whose color and intensity shift at the touch of a remote. It is reduction taken to its logical conclusion, an exercise in the idea that the most considered objects ask the least of the room around them.
