Met Sofa

Piero Lissoni conceived the Met Sofa as an exercise in reduction, distilling the idea of seating to its geometric essentials. The silhouette is long, horizontal, and deliberately low, asserting itself in a room through proportion rather than volume.

Modularity is central to the system's logic. Components combine across a wide range of configurations, from linear runs to generous corner formations, with each composition reading as a single, considered object rather than an accumulation of parts. The coherence of form is preserved regardless of scale.
