Le Soleil draws its form from an architectural reference that needs no introduction. Vicente Garcia Jimenez looked to the spiraling silhouette of the Guggenheim Museum in New York, translating that iconic geometry into a suspended object that holds the ceiling with quiet authority.
The lamp's volume is shaped by asymmetric bands, each one calibrated to serve a dual optical purpose. Their opaque inner surfaces face upward, acting as reflective planes that wash the ceiling in diffused light. Simultaneously, the form directs a focused beam downward, producing a layered atmosphere from a single source.
