Grip Glassware
Vico Magistretti, one of the defining voices of twentieth-century Italian design, approached even the most utilitarian objects with the same rigor he brought to furniture and architecture. The Grip collection for COVO is a quiet expression of that philosophy.
The glass walls are drawn almost to the point of disappearance, a deliberate reduction that shifts attention away from the vessel and onto what it holds. At the rim, a gentle outward opening introduces a sense of primordial gesture, grounding each piece in something older than style. The tapered silhouette is easy to hold and allows formats to stack cleanly.
- Available in formats for water, whiskey, wine, and champagne
- Stackable construction across the collection
- Designed by Vico Magistretti for COVO
- Minimal form with considered proportions
Grip asks very little of the room and very little of the drinker. That restraint is exactly the point.
