Gilda Floor Lamp
Enrico Franzolini's Gilda is a study in proportion and quiet authority. A generous shade crowns a telescopic die-cast aluminum base that adjusts from 50.5 to 112 inches, allowing the lamp to shift register entirely, from an intimate reading companion to a commanding presence within a double-height room.
Three shade materials define three distinct atmospheres. Natural jute, available in black or natural, lends warmth and a tactile, woven character. Synthetic parchment paper in white or ivory diffuses light with a soft, luminous glow. The plissé fabric shade, the most recent expression of the design, introduces a refined sculptural quality through its folded, architectural surface.
- Telescopic die-cast aluminum base, adjustable from 50.5″ to 112″
- Shade options: natural jute (black or natural), synthetic parchment paper (white or ivory), plissé fabric (white)
- Designed by Enrico Franzolini for Pallucco
- Made to order
Pallucco has long occupied a particular position in Italian lighting, producing work that sits at the boundary between industrial process and artisanal sensibility. Gilda is characteristic of that ethos: precise in its engineering, open in its expressive range.
