Flo Lounge Floor Lamp

Flo Lounge Floor Lamp

The Flo collection marks the first collaboration between Foster + Partners and Lumina Italia, the specialist Italian lighting manufacturer founded in Milan in 1975. The result is a lamp that reads as a single, continuous gesture, its slender aluminum arm and cold-formed rotating head resolved into a form with no excess.

Superfluous mechanical elements - coils, springs, visible joints - are absent by design. The head rotates 300 degrees for precise directional control, while the arm pivots 120 degrees on a weighted circular aluminum base. The delicacy of the profile comes not from reduction alone, but from the discipline of knowing exactly what to remove.

  • Cold-formed aluminum head with integrated dimmable LED
  • Slender aluminum frame on a circular aluminum base
  • Head rotation: 300 degrees; arm pivot: 120 degrees
  • Available in four varnish-coated aluminum and steel finishes

Foster + Partners approached the Flo as an architectural object, applying the same economy of means that defines their built work. What remains is a lamp of clear structural logic and quiet presence.
