Dine Out Armchair

Dine Out Armchair

Rodolfo Dordoni designed the Dine Out Armchair as a study in outdoor living without concession. The structure is solid teak, chosen for its natural resilience and warm, open grain. At the armrests and upper backrest, hand-woven polypropylene cord in a grey mélange references traditional weaving practice while standing up to sun and weather without compromise.

The seat cushion layers batting over a polyurethane foam insert, upholstered in water-repellent fabric and anchored to the teak slats with two discreet straps. A grey gros-grain piping traces the upper border, a tailored gesture that speaks to Dordoni's sensibility at the intersection of Italian fashion and furniture culture. Backrest cushions are soap-bar shaped, their rounded corners and double-stitched seams giving the piece a quiet formality rarely found in outdoor seating.

This is furniture conceived for the terrace the way a sofa is conceived for the salon: with rigor, proportion, and a clear point of view.
