The cuckoo clock carries centuries of Alpine folk memory. Pascal Tarabay, working from Milan, chose to compress that history into a single plane, laser-cutting the familiar silhouette from metal so that the form reads as a graphic drawn directly onto the wall.
What remains is outline, shadow, and suggestion. The clock mechanism still functions, the hour still sounds, but the domestic object has been distilled to its essential geometry. The Silver Leaf finish gives the surface a quiet, reflective quality that shifts with the light of the room.
