Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby conceived the Bellhop for the London Design Museum, and its origins are written into every proportion. The silhouette, a softly domed shade over a cylindrical stem, quotes the shape of a hotel porter's hat with just enough abstraction to feel wholly contemporary.
Wireless and rechargeable via USB-C, the Bellhop operates for up to 24 hours on a single charge. A push-button dimmer at the base cycles through four brightness levels, giving the lamp the quiet, adjustable warmth of a candle scaled for modern living.
