Gabriel Tan drew from the invisible made visible: smoke curling through still air, mist catching light before it dissolves. The Aer Bowl and Vase takes its name from the Latin word for air and vapor, and the form earns it. Each piece undulates in slow, asymmetrical waves, as if glass were caught mid-motion and held.
The silhouette resists symmetry by design. Where most vessels seek balance through repetition, Aer finds it through counterpoint, one curve answering another at an unexpected angle. The result is an object that reads differently from every position in a room.
