118t Table Lamp

118t Table Lamp

The 118 series began as a question: what does glass remember? For designer Omer Arbel, the answer lives in the feather-like impressions captured within each hand-blown opal globe, the quiet residue of breath and touch preserved in molten material. Light does not simply pass through the glass. It reveals what is already there.

The 118t translates this sensibility from suspended form to surface. A single 118 pendant is married to Bocci's sculptural table hardware, available in brass or black, with an integrated dimmer housed within a compact cylinder at the base. The semi-rigid black fabric cord can be shaped by hand, offering a small degree of compositional intent, a considered placement rather than a fixed one.

  • Hand-blown opal glass with captured feather-like impressions
  • Hardware available in brass or black finish
  • Integrated dimming system within the base cylinder
  • Semi-rigid fabric cord, shapeable by hand

Bocci was founded in Vancouver by Omer Arbel, whose practice spans architecture, object design, and material research. The 118 series reflects his long investigation into glass as a medium that carries memory, where process and artifact are inseparable.
