Pisco
Named after the Portuguese word for "blink of an eye," Pisco is a modular wall composition by Belgian designer Stefan Schöning for Gardeco. Each ceramic disc carries a subtly curved surface, concave enough to cast shadow on one side while catching light on the other. The effect is neither static nor predictable.
The discs attach to the wall magnetically, which means a composition can be rearranged, expanded, or edited at any time. Schöning conceived this as an open system: the designer sets the parameters, and the inhabitant completes the work. Pisco is available in three sizes and four colorways, including three shades of warm brown and one off-white.
- Ceramic construction with curved, light-responsive surfaces
- Magnetic wall attachment for flexible, reconfigurable installation
- Three sizes, four colorways
- Suited to large-scale custom projects including entrance halls and reception spaces
